Smear a thin coating of dielectric grease over each terminal. Wipe as much as possible back off to leave just a microscopic coating. Using something like a business card or piece of plastic to shear the grease off the surface works well.

As you work along on the install use the synthetic steel wool on each mating surface to clean it off. Use the alcohol wipes to clean off any residue or grease.
